Our Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected on the first day of the week, i.e., on Sunday (Mt 28:1; Mk 16:2,9; Lk. 24:1; Jn. 20:1,19). Therefore we need to celebrate it on every Sunday. Here, I start with using the Word Easter. The word “Easter” is derived from Eastre, the Teutonic goddess of Spring, refers back to the story of the Tower of Babel. The flood during Noah was a divine judgment to wickedness of men (Gen 6:5). However the Favour of God to Noah brought second opportunity to live and flourish on the earth by preserving Noah along with 7 others of his family members. Read more...
